SUMMARY
Provides professional development opportunities for all staff, to include teachers and administrators to ensure that TUSD students are provided access to the tools and the skills needed to compete and function in the global society.
Collaborates with principals, teachers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of 21st century learning, researched-based professional development strategies designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the District Strategic Plan. Ensures instruction is aligned with State Technology Standards and that data is collected and used by sites in the implementation of their site plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a field that has led to obtaining Teaching credentials
Five years of administrative or teaching experience, including experience implementing or working with professional development programs or equivalent.
Experience providing professional development to adults
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Educational Leadership, or content area and/or experience in field Microsoft Innovative Expert, Apple Certific, ISTE and/or Google Certification
Valid Driver's License

FTE: 1.0 - 8 hrs hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 months
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
