SUMMARY This position will develop, analyze, revise, and update bus runs, routes, and schedules for safety and maximum operating efficiency ensuring transportation service is safely and efficiently provided to all qualified students attending TUSD schools MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Associates Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field OR Two years of college (60 credit hours) coursework in a related field OR Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience utilizing computerized Transportation Routing Software systems Three (3) years of experience utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications. Three (3) years experience as a Router in a transportation related field. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated knowledge of the Tucson Metropolitan area, to include Pima County Two (2) years experience utilizing computerized routing software applications Knowledge of route planning and scheduling practices and procedures ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE FBI fingerprint background check. Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. Must submit to a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
