SUMMARY
This position is a full-time substitute position assigned to a TUSD Region.  Regional Leadership will assign subs to sites each day.  Positions may be long-term or daily, based on regional need.   Guest Teachers will be scheduled by TUSD Sub Office Staff to provide classroom instruction to students in accordance with established lesson plans and administrator directions.  May prepare lesson plans and, evaluate and monitor students’ performance.
 
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Current Arizona Substitute, PreK-12 Certificate
Classroom Teaching Experience
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Current Arizona Teaching Certificate
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Guest Teachers will be required to use the District’s automated Sub Finder computer system to verify their assignments each day.

LOCATION: Lawrence 3-8 School - Jeffrey Rd & Mark Rd Area

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
