SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to empower students with practical life skills, to inspire students to be confident and to set goals while developing critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills.  Prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary K-8 OR Secondary 6-12 Teaching Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Gridley Middle School  - Broadway & Harrison Area

FTE : 1.0- 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

*Elective class for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

 

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
