**This position is TEMPORARY and will END May 23, 2025**

SUMMARY

Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers.  Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults frequently with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services.  Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials in order promote interest in reading.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8 with Reading Endorsement K-8 or K-12
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR 
Location: Asian Pacific American & Refugee Student Services - Pima & Dodge Area 

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day 
Work Calendar: 9.5 month  

 

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
